Estrella High School Staff v. Lady Sidwinders
On Tuesday May 11, the Lady Sidewinders played their last game of the season against the Estrella High staff.
The game celebrated a tournament win last Saturday April 24 in which the girls played from 8am to 10pm against 7 other teams. The girls also used the evening to congratulate four team members who will be graduating. The graduates are Briana Paskins, Monique Longoria, and team managers Dimitri Ramirez and Michael Acuna. Mahogany Waldon was also recognized for having the highest GPA on the team. Briana Paskins was named this year's MVP.
The festivities included a hotdog cookout, a game bus for students who wanted to participate, and the opportunity to watch staff play against students. The Lady Sidewinders played a good game, but the staff won in the end.
