About Our School 

Estrella High School is a free public charter school that emphasizes core academic subject areas with a focus on business. Student success and achievement are nurtured at Estrella, with a supportive staff that strives to make a difference. At Estrella High School, students can:

  • Earn a diploma in three to four years from a North Central Association accredited school. Choose from morning, afternoon and night classes to complete graduation requirements.
  • Take classes in business, marketing and computers as part of the vocational education program.
  • Receive free tuition, and transportation.
  • Ease the transition into high school with 9th grade academies, which allow students to take classes with the same teachers and group of students the whole year
  • Earn college scholarships. Last year, Estrella students were awarded triple the number of scholarships from the previous year. Every student in the top 15 percent of the graduating class receives a Maricopa County Presidential Scholarship.
