Estrella High School offers courses that have been developed with alignment to the Arizona State Standards.  The core courses including Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies are also in the process of aligning to the Common Core Curriculum Standards to prepare for their adoption in 2014.  Teachers in all classes are effectively implementing researched based strategies to deliver instruction so that every learner has the opportunity to be successful in the classroom.  These strategies focus on differentiated instruction, engagement, response to intervention, and application to the real world.  Estrella has also integrated technology into the classroom and is promoting students to develop the 21st Century Technology Skills that all learners will need after they have completed their educational careers.
