Dress Code
The following list is a shortened version of the school dress code. The full document can be found in a Student Handbook. Items in bold are new for the 2011-2012 school year.
1. Pants must be worn at the waist
2. No head apparel except for religious or medical purposes, must be worn
3. NO HATS ALLOWED ON CAMPUS
4. Shirts must cover the entire front and back. No spaghetti straps, tube tops, or tank tops.
5. Shirts must not be solid blue or red.
6. Shorts, skirts, and skorts must be knee length or longer.
7. No bandanas of any color.
8. Jewelry must not present a safety hazard, or reference drugs or alcohol, or violence.
9. Clothes that have obscene language, ethnic slurs, words or symbols that depict gang affiliation, sex, drugs, or alcohol are not allowed.
10. No muscle shirts or tank top undershirts unless underneath another shirt.
Students found in violation of the school dress code may purchase an Estrella High School shirt or shorts to ensure proper dress in accordance with the dress code guidelines.
