Graduation Requirements
Estrella High School offers students two options for graduation.
The class of 2012 is required to graduate with a total of 21 credits. Students who plan to attend a four year college of university must have one additional math credit upon graduation, giving a total of 22 credits.
Students who are part of the graduating class of 2013 + are required to graduate with a total 22 credits whether or not they are planning to attend a four year college or university.

Students must attend Estrella High School a minimum of two blocks in order to graduate (regardless of credits earned from other institutions), unless the student transfers from another Leona school in good standing.
Students may not participate in the graduation ceremony unless they have completed the credit requirements. Students who will graduate during the early blocks will receive a graduation certificate. A diploma will only be handed out at the end of the year ceremony to all graduates. Students graduating with a 3.0 GPA or higher are considered honors graduates.
