Transportation
Estrella High School's goal is to furnish students with the safest transportation possible as they travel between home and school and school related trips.
Bus service is only offered for the times below
Monday through Thursday:
Run #1 Period 1 - Period 3 (8 a.m.-1:50 p.m.)
Run #2 Period 4 - Period 6 (1:50 p.m.-7:40 p.m.)
Morning students who attend 4 periods (periods 1 through 4) must find their own transportation home.
Evening students who attend 4 periods (periods 3 through 6) must find their own transportation to school.
Friday:
Run #1 Period 1 - Period 3 (8 a.m.-1:50 p.m.)
Students who flex a fourth period must find their own transportation home.
Students who need transportation on Fridays MUST sign up on Wednesday during 2nd hour or 5th hour. Times and locations for stops will be posted on Thursdays on the back windows of the main office. It is the student's responsibility to find out when he/she will be picked up on Friday mornings.
To ensure the safety of all students who ride the bus, students must adhere to the bus code of conduct and understand that the bus driver is in charge of the bus at all times. Students who repeatedly violate the rules of conduct may be denied the privilege of riding the bus and is subject to other disciplinary action to be determined by the Administration.
Bus Code of Conduct states that: 1. Students not present at their bus stop for 3 consecutive days will love their privilege of transportation.
2. Student ID cards must be worn and visible while on the bus.
3. Students must arrive at the bus stop 5 minutes before the bus is scheduled to arrive.
4. Students must wait 10 minutes at their location before calling the school to inquire about the bus.
5. Students who are brought to the school by bus are required to stay on campus upon arrival.
6. Students will not be able to ride a later bus unless a teacher has signed a bus pass.
7. Horseplay, loud talking, littering, or fighting is not permitted on the bus or at bus stops.
8. Students must remain sitting while in the bus and must keep exists and aisles clear.
9. Students and parents/guardians are responsible for any vandalism to the bus
10. Candy, food, or drink is not allowed on the bus except as required for medical reasons.
11. Tobacco or related products are not allowed on the bus.
12. Students will not be picked up or dropped off at non-designated stops unless written consent has been given by a parent/guardian and approval has been given by an administrator.
