Don't know what to do this summer?
Need to catch up on credits?
Estrella High School is now enrolling for summer school courses. Our fees are lower than other schools!
There are two sessions available. First session runs from June 3 through June 13 and second session runs from June 17 through June 27. Classes for both sessions run Monday through Thursday 8 a.m. to 3:45 p.m.
Students may only take one class per summer session, and at the end of the session they will receive .50 credit. Students may choose to complete both summer sessions.
Transportation is available at no cost.
Please note that in order for a student to receive credit for summer school, the student may not be absent for any reason and must comply with all rules and expectations. Refunds are not given for any reason unless enrollment has been cancelled prior to the start of summer school. Students who engage in any behavior that results in discipline action will be removed immediately from the summer program, and are not entitled to a refund.
For more information or to enroll into summer school, contact Estrella High School at 623-932-6562 or stop by the main office Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Students, don't forget that this Friday, May 17 is the last Friday available to flex any absences. Make plans accordingly. All absences must be made up by Thursday, May 23. Students who have a dispute over a flex or absence should first address the issue with a teacher.
Parents/guardians, did you know you could check your student's absence record through PASS? On the home page, click on the red button that says PASS. On the next screen, type in the student's ID number and the pin code. If you don't have them readily available, simply call the main office at 623-932-6562 and request the information.
This Thursday May 16, 2013 Estrella High School will be holding its annual Spring Awards Night. Students who will be receiving awards have been given a special invitation. Please come out and help us congratulate those students who have shown tremendous growth, excellent work and leadership skills academically, and/or athletically.
