The polls are up! On our homepage, vote for your 2013 Prom Royalty. This year, we're opening up the votes to EVERYONE! That's right, family, friends from other schools, even long lost cousins can vote for you.
Just tell them to go to our website and scroll down. Results will be hidden until the night of Prom, so you don't know how many votes your opponent has. Candidates are responsible for getting their names out there by putting up posters, talking to fellow students, etc. BUT REMEMBER TO BE GOOD SPORTS! If we find posters being ripped down, inappropriate things said about candidates on social media, or any other behavior unfit for royalty by any candidate or associates of a candidate, that person may be removed from the race and additional school consequences may follow. Keep it fun!

On Friday April 27, Estrella High School held its prom at the Rio Vista Recreation Center. The theme was Hollywood Glamour and students were treated like movie stars. Papparazzi were flashing cameras as students entered dressed in tuxes and sparkling gowns.
At about 10 p.m., Mrs. Zordani took the stage and announced the 2011-12 prom court. Everyone cheered as the winners were sashed and crowned. The title of prince and princess went to Armando Barraza and Christina Palomera. Peter James and Amanda Pina were crowned king and queen. Most of the students stayed through the night to enjoy the music and company. Estrella High School's Prom is April 27 from 7:00pm to 11:00pm at the Rio Vista Recreation Center.
