About EHS PLC Teams
PLC teams at Estrella High School are committed to the work of improving student achievement.
Weekly meetings are held on non-instructional days (Fridays) from 8:00-10:00am and are focused on the 4 questions of a PLC
1. What do we want students to learn?
2. How do we know if students are learning?
3. How will we respond when students don't learn?
4. How will we extend learning for students who are already proficient?
During the 2020-2021 schooyear, the focus of PLC teams has been the identification of essential knowledge and skills in each course offered at EHS (question #1), and the completion of a rigorous scope and sequence for each course.

Collective Committments
Estrella instructional staff worked during In-Service to create this year's Collective Commitments. These are commitments that we, as a school community, have pledged to hold ourselves and each other accountable to. This is a part of who we are and what we do and will be an on-going practice that will be revised and renewed each year.
