EHS Student Services
Estrella High School has made a commitment to provide a quality education to all students.
Exceptional Student Services
EHS' special education and support programs have been designed to allow all students the opportunity to develop into successful, caring, and knowledgeable members of our community.
Children who need extra help at school in order to learn may need special education services through the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973.
Identified students receive a free and appropriate education to meet their unique and individual needs. EHS' special education program provides specially designed instruction, at no cost to the parents, to meet the unique needs of a child with a disability. Special education is provided through a continuum of services which may include; instruction in the general education classroom with supplementary aids/services, services integrated into the general education classroom, or specialized instruction in a pull-out setting.
